This quality makes Richard the natural leader for the band. Besides, the band was his idea. Richard knows how to enjoy computers and his favorite science fiction shows, but he also knows how to go outside and be a real person. Richard only seems to get really upset when his best friend for life, Percy, acts a little too geeky, or a little too naive. In the end, Richard is a good soul with a good heart.
